I don't understand why anyone would want to do BEng then MPhil rather than MEng? Especially as an MPhil is a postgraduate course and hence you will have to pay even more money for it!

Unless you can't afford to do four years, can't get the grades or you don't really plan on doing anything remotely engineering related in the future then forget the BEng. The standard for Chartered Engineers these days is the MEng (or equivalent BEng + one year postgrad but why do these when you can do MEng?) assuming that's what you want to aim for. :confused:

All the interesting stuff is in the fourth year anyway :smile:
