When do PGCE finance applications begin

Hi,

I have rang the student loans company and they told me that I can't apply for PGCE tuition and maintenance loans until the end of June/early July. Is this correct? I have heard conflicting info.

I was told applications start the end of March and I'm half way through attempting to fill mine out

(they don't make things easy!)

I rang again yesterday and spoke to someone different. They said that applications opened a month ago. Looks like I was told the wrong thing.
