Islam fetishizes female virginity. That is why Islamic scholars lowered Aisha's age during marriage and consummation- to emphasis that she was a clean and pure virgin, worthy enough for the Messenger of God.

I refuse to follow a creed that ties my 'purity' to a piece of flesh between my legs. I am worth more than that.
