Accommodation Reviews Please!

Hey guys,

I've finally whittled it down to The Quads and Marlborough/Solsbury Court, and having read all the threads on every other type of accommodation, could anyone give me a review on these 2 and advice on which to choose?

Thanks a lot in advance:h:
Hi,

I am a first year International Management student here at the University of Bath and currently live in The Quads.

The main difference is that in the Quads you are paying £25 for £27.50 of catering credit. I really like having catering credit as it makes eating out very convenient and it is a great way of socialising. Some people prefer to make their own meals however, in which case maybe catering credit would not be a sensible idea.

Room sizes in Marlborough and Solsbury court are slightly bigger than Quads. In addition to this the rooms were recently renovated last year, therefore they are fresh and modern. The rooms also now include mood lighting, which everybody loves!

The Quads has slightly larger groups of ten to a kitchen, however our kitchens are significantly bigger and we also have living room space with a large TV and beanbags. Some people would jump to saying that smaller flats are better, however in a larger flat it can be a lot easier in the event that you do not get along with everybody. Also if you prefer your own space you have more of an opportunity to relax by yourself, people are less likely to come looking for you!

I won't make the decision for you, as it entirely depends on you as an individual. I love living in the Quads, however I know never heard of anybody who is unhappy with their accommodation. You will have a great time wherever you choose to live, so try not to worry about it too much!

How useful or worth it did you find the catering credit? I am also really undecided between those two places but I am not sure if I really want the credit because idk if I would want to eat out that often.. Also, how is the social space in Marlborough and Solsbury court? I can't find any pictures of it.
Thanks in advance!
