Plymouth or Northumbria for mechanical engineering?

Hi there everyone my first time here :smile:

So the question is self explanatory, I wont be able to get down and see them until august by the time I would have already decided - I applied by the June 30th deadline.
Which ones are better for mechanical engineering?(career prospects etc...)
They both seem about the same concerning the rankings?
Im leaning towards Plymouth atm, mainly as I cant see a difference in reputation and I just seem a bit put off by the prospect of the northern weather :smile:

any thoughts?
