Is Maths Important?

I was wondering if anyone has gotten into Medicine without higher maths?

Definitely. You don't need it. It's just one of those things that'll meet the "2 of Bio, Chem, Maths or Physics" requirement. Some places want 3 of the above. Nowhere in Scotland wants Maths specifically. Some places in England want Maths specifically.

Taking Maths does not increase your chances of getting in unless the uni explicitly says they want you to have it.
