What was your favourite year in school?

Year 11, had the freedom to do whatever I wanted and teachers couldn't really punish you (because of how pivotal lessons were, stress etc and they wanted to keep you in the sixth form for more funding)
I quite enjoyed year 12 cause of the fact I had so many free periods and I could have lie ins and amazingly still end up with good grades at the end of it and I liked how new people joined my school in the sixth form and how all the idiots from year 11 had gone so it was mostly just the nice people left

Year 9, the last year before you actually had to work for GCSEs and everything went downhill thereafter :s

My school started GCSEs in year 9 but it was stupid cause it wasn't really like we were doing GCSE like it was GCSE work but everyone knew we had ages like for core science and re we actually sat three exams in year 9 and most people flopped lol like I got a C in the bio unit 1 exam but nobody cared cause we all retook the exams in year 10 so such a waste of time haha but I managed to get an A in an GCSE re exam back in year 9 so that was good I guess but Yh bit of a weird year cause we had exams but literally nobody did revision and the teachers didn't seem to expect us to either haha
y8, it was pretty chill:tongue:
Year 10, it was the time where the only exams I had to focus on was GCSE Maths.

+ When I first came across & got hooked on Bleach.

Year 7 was my last year in middle school and spent it doing nothing

Question's in the title

Year 11. It was quite sad having to say goodbye to my teachers, some of whom I've known for many years :frown:
Year 11, I actually enjoyed the year because I was actually oddly popular and everyone used to say hi to me and I loved the dynamic of the year group and I knew everyone and I quite liked the challenge of the year and as well you thought you were really important because they were your first big exams and i did well in the exams and yeh was just a great year :/

Now everything is downhill, the year group is fragmented, there are no interesting characters cos most have left and im permanently on my own and no-one is bothered anymore

100% 10&11 they were just so good compared to the abhorrence of a levels
11 was just awesome!
Not entirely sure any work got done but it was just constant fun and laughter!!
Got into a fair amount of trouble from it but it was just hilarious!
The exams didnt really bother us until we had them. Even then we werent that bothered haha!
But yeah it was just a massive laugh and i actually had friends to hang out with then too!
If only we could rewind time!
I hated all of them at the time they were the present, but I think with hindsight I can safely say that years 10 and 11 (and all the pre-sixth form years more generally) were the best of the lot.

They were still rubbish in absolute terms, sure, but they were better than the others (especially years 12 and 13 :colonhash:).
Year 7 and Year 9. But Year 7 was my best year in school:u:
