Spider repellent PLEASE HELP!!!
Hi guys
I will be moving into my first student flat this weekend and I am petrified to the point where i don't want to go. I have arachnophobia to the point where even the word gives me bad anxiety. If i see one at home I have panic attacks but my family will get rid of them for me.
Does anyone know of a good repellent or a good way of killing them?
I know i sound pathetic but please help.

conkers supposedly work i.e. put a bowl of conkers in each room that you want to repel spiders from.
there's a spider repellent liquid in a trigger spray sold under the brand '151'... only seem to see it in poundshops.
also there's a spider trap sold under the rentokil brand... looks like you'd end up with a trap full of dead spiders to deal with
no first hand experience though - I don't mind spiders.
