Low UKCAT (2017 entry)

I sat my UKCAT exam a few weeks ago and got a very low average score of 586. The break down of each section was: AR 540 VR 570 QR 650 SJ Band 2
If there aren't universities that are likely to give me interviews for medicine, I do have a back up plan I just really wanted to know whether I still even have a chance. My GCSE's are 4A* 8A and 1B. Also, my predicted grades are AAA however this may change to A*AA.

Thank you

Hey there, sorry to hear you didn't get the score you wanted in the UKCAT.

Have you considered taking the BMAT which might be an option? Have a look at the 6-or-so medical schools that use this test, and see if your other academic grades/ work experience meet their requirements.

Good luck!
