When should i start an apprenticeship

I'm 16, from NI and i'm currently a sixth form student who's looking out of sixth form and looking for an IT apprenticeship. I've got 4 gcses (3c's and 1b) and im repeating my maths GCSE in January. Should I start an apprenticeship now and do my maths at college or wait until January and stay at school?

It depends on the requirements for the apprenticeship, since it's IT I'd imagine maths to be quite helpful but look for IT apprenticeships and see if they ask for maths and the make your decision on whether or not to stay at school
