Why is Wikileaks so pro-Putin?

Almost as if the KGB are running teams of hackers and sending Assange material that'd be embarrassing to the USA etc. :unsure:

tbh you're pretty much setting yourself up to get used if you just publish everything you're sent.

One of their recent achievements was to publish - apparently without giving as much as a damn about the consequences - the names and addresses and other personal details of millions of women in Turkey, with potentially huge and damaging consequences to many, such as those women fleeing abusive partners, persecuted by the regime, etc.

They seem to have an almost perverse indifference to the potential damage they cause and it's long overdue that they were properly shut down and Assange sent to rot in a proper prison instead of a tiny flat in London.
