just wondering, lets say someone has done 4 AS levels but chooses to drop one because they did quite badly in the subject but chooses to carry the other 3 to A2 ,but wants to re-take 2, does it straight away give a bad impression to a University you wish to apply to im not on about Universites such as Oxford etc but more like Staffordshire University or University of Keele? and is the person who has done 3 Alevels and one AS better off compared to the student who has done 3 Alevels? And do ACCE look bad even though those C's can definatly be bumped upto B's by A2 :smile:

I'll assume that ACCE is what you got at AS. Dropping the E subject probably would be a good idea and you'd still be left with 3 A levels which is what most unis would want. If you can be predicted ABB by your teachers and do some resists, then you'll be fine.
