The Student Room Group

Will It Work

So basically im at kingston uni, i have changed my course from business to environmental science.

Now finally i have been offered a course which i should have chosen from the start.

Its in leed met, doing health safety and the environment.Im worried about a few things though, like the distance ( 6 hours away ), fitting in as every one will have there groups of freinds already, finding accommodation etc,

has any one experienced the same situtaion or any advice ??

anyone .........
Personally I think Leeds is a brilliant place to study. It has a big student population, a good social scene and plenty to do. A few of my friends went to Leeds met and are loving it.

If it is, as you say, the course you really think you should be doing, then go for it. The uni will help you find accomodation (and there are always loads of rooms advertised on the uni portals or accom. boards) Re fitting in -you may have to make a bit of extra effort to be sociable - but wouln't it be worth it if it's really what u want to do?
