hi, i'm gonna be starting an architecture degree and was wondering what type of stationary equipment i'll need. also will i need to get any extra hardware or software for my PC?

don't quote me on this that much (cos i'm not at uni yet), but i think you get given the software you'll need at uni. I suppose you'll just need basic things like a good word processing program (microsoft word) and good graphics card for the programs you'll use. I'm not so sure on the other stuff. Your best bet is to contact the department that you're going to.

Praddles

Be prepared to invest in a drawing board (desktop or even A1!), lots of books, paper, card and other materials and drawing and craft tools too.
