Concerning the Bombing of a UN building in Algiers

Liechtenstein strongly condemns whichever group led to the bombing of a UN building in Algiers today, and to the other car bomb near the consitutional court. Our thoughts go out to the families of those affected, and we sincerly hope that more lives may be saved in the wreckage of the building.

The bombing of a UN building is in Liechtenstein's eyes a heinous crime, in many ways worse than bombing a national centre or institution. Actions such as these are completely unacceptable.

The very idea of bombing an UN building shocks France to the core.
