history coursework 100 years but less than 100?
i believe you can do 80-120 years, but is 78 ok?

If you’ve been told it’s 100, and the min/max is 80 and 120, is strongly advise against going any lower than that.
It depends on your exam board, but some will just say “Cannot give more than X amount of marks if under or over the limit”
