I had the phone interview this morning. I think it went badly, I answered wrongly to a very simple maths question but managed to correct myself later on.

I don't know why, I was so nervous I just blanked. I'd prepared so hard for this, my walls are covered in notes I've been preparing over the past few days.

I'll be gutted if I don't get progressed, I kind of already know I haven't.

That sucks davidkp. Posted a comment in another thread to you, did they say when you'd hear back? What maths question was it - 3/8's in decimal form?

have you emailed hr about this problem? I remember they are holding 4 days tele interviews. 2 in Dec and 2 in Jan.

I had my telephone interview today for a voice brokerage internship, the questions were as follows:

Why ICAP?
Why an internship as a voice broker?
What OTC products do we offer?
Who are our competitors?
Whats 7% of 7?
Whats 1/8 as a decimal?
Hardest thing you have done and how did you get around it?
Show an example of your networking skills.
Describe yourself in 3 words.
Who else have you applied to?

Haven't had a reply back yet so not sure whether I have advanced to the next stage or not.

I'll be having my ICAP phone interview tomorrow for the Accounting division in Singapore's office. I'd appreciate it if anyone could tell me the typical questions asked. How long the interview on average? How is the interviewer?
