What is the purpose of a zipper on women's pants?

This is a confusing. So ladies, educate me.

The zippers were placed so it would be easy for us men to pull our penis out of the hole and urinate comfortably.

Now, these zippers are implemented in women's pants as well. I don't understand the logic behind it when they are incapable of producing the accuracy required to stream the urine through the hole. They clearly have to drop their pants.

What purpose does zipper serve? TELL ME

Is it not obvious? Trousers are pretty hard to walk in if they're round your ankles.

women have hips...the trousers have to be smaller than the hips or they'll fall down, and the zipper is there so the trousers can be wide enough to pull over the hips. hence why elasticated/stretchy trousers and skirts usually don't have zips
