Year 1 engineering at Loughborough
I was wondering how similar all the different engineering courses are during year 1 as I have been to see Exeter and they say you can almost switch after 1 year not sure if this is the same at Loughborough.

No it's not the same at Loughborough. Some unis offer a shared 1st year across their engineering courses, ours however are specific. So if you were doing Mech Eng for example and wanted to switch to Elec Eng after 1st year, you'd have to start at 1st year again.
