Undergraduate work experience/placement advice

Hi guys,

Just completed my A levels and I’m starting my first year at uni soon. I was thinking of doing some work experience or internship to improve my skills and enhance my CV. I’ve had a look at a variety of programmes by JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs etc but most of them are looking for students who have completed first year at uni.

I’m currently enrolled for an economics degree and planning to work in investment banking in the future, hence anyone that can help/advice me would be much appreciated.

If you're starting at university, then you are 'first year' - in that case, you should be applying for first year Spring Week programs.

When you actually do them, technically you'll be on the verge of finishing first year.
