How to improve your Spanish speaking skills

Do you get enough Spanish conversation practice at school/college? If not, what do you do to build your confidence to speak and enjoy the language?

As a bilingual person (Spanish and English) I honestly think learning the language using a textbook is not very helpful to learn how to speak that language. You need to listen to locals and watch films in that language. But be careful don't think that by watching Netflix in Spanish you will learn how to speak it. Go to Spain, preferably a place with a 'neutral' accent like Madrid, it's a beautiful city with a lot of people from different places and everyone know's English there so don't worry about your accent or language barriers because everyone will be very supportive and if you don't know how to say something just saying it in English!

If you need more help just PM me.

Good luck!
