civil engineering foundation

hi

i wanted to know how hard is civil engineering year 0 (foundation year) . i was told i need 60% or higher to get into BEng civil engineering course otherwise i will have to do the Bsc civil engineering course which i dont want to

so again how hard is it,is it fairy easy to get 60% , and how many times did you attend a week and how many hours a week?

I'm not sure where your planning on going, but you sound a little confused.

BEng and BSC are pretty much the same thing. (Its usually BEng for engineering but some unis use BSc)

Heres how its works anyway:

You need to pass your foundation year (year 0) with 40% to get onto the BEng.(or BSc)

Once your on the BEng you need to get an average of 60% (2:1) over the first two years (y1 and y2) to be concidered for the MEng (4 years masters).

In my experience foundation year was quite easy wheen compared to 1st year, and 1st year is easier when compared to 2nd year.

On average I thnk you'll need to put in about 35-40 hours a week (20-30 hours of lectures and labs).
