Computer science personal statement

I'm a beginner (haven't done at gcse or a level )in computer science but I am interested in computer science and want to take it at uni. Does anyone have any tips for writing a personal statement as someone who is new? also if you could share any links to examples of some that would be great
Most of computer science at Uni is maths, so you should talk about your interest in maths. Also talk about technology in the modern day.
Do you know any programming languages? As you haven't done GCSE or A-Level, if you do, they'd be self taught. Write about why you wanted to learn coding and what interests you about computer science.
You could talk about the Covid-19 pandemic. Due to the shift to remote working, the world needed programmers to write new apps, software, build websites etc to keep the world moving. You could write about how the shift to remote working proved how valuable technology, the internet and software are to everyone's daily lives. Maybe specifically pick some software like Zoom, the track and trace app and discuss pros and cons and how you'd like to address those cons.
Perhaps you're coming from an academic perspective. You could discuss how computing is moving to the cloud, the implications this has for scientific programming and the challenges in shifting software to cloud servers.
The world is your oyster really! Read some computing journals. Find some recent science you're interested in and write about how you fit in to the future of that research!
Good luck!
