I want to apply to kings for management.. will they laugh and decline me?

hi there

i just started A2 year in college

AS grades : ABCD
A2 predicted: AAB (business studies, english language, graphic design)
Gcse grades : A*A*AAAAABBBC (maths B, english A)
personal statement : strong
extra stuff : duke of edinburgh award, debating, voluntry work, paid work.

Do i have any chance what so ever of getting in for management at kings college

I really want to get in!!!!!

possible reasons they may decline me, maths gcse only at a B, argueable slightly weak A level subjects, did not take Mathematics, achieved a D in one AS when the entry requirement is a B for the additional AS

please people tell me what you think...

You won't get in with a D at AS. Decline the grade and redo the AS exams in Jan/June.

Surely if the OP get something like AAA, it shouldn't make a different if s/he has 'd' at AS? :s-smilie:

yes they will laugh at you and decline you so badly they will send you a paper that says HAHAHAHAHAHAHA -King's College London.

Depends on the course. Like for my course they didn't care that i didn't have an AS. But Management is so competetive, get that AS up to a B!

business studies and graphic design are not really going to help your app, kcl prefer traditional subjects.
