MAD card

Is anyone else getting a MAD card??? it seems alot of money for only 10 weeks. is the food any good??? do alot of people get a MAD card or is it just a few who cant cook???

MAD is a rip-off. If you want to invest in your catering for next year, then buy a decent cookbook.

It's only value for money if you get every single meal from a campus eating place. Which isn't very likely.

Yeah don't do it. Total waste. If you need to eat at the canteen, don't get the main meals, they'll end up being £3.50 at least - get sides and it's really cheap :biggrin:

Also, just learn to cook. It's one of the best ways to socialise in your block.

how many people use the MAD card??? i would hate to be one of only a few. does anyone know what the meals are like???

They're not terrible, but they're not particularly amazing either. Vanbrugh sunday roast dinners are pretty good, though (or at least were when I last had one)
