lol not at all. universities do not descriminate, as long as ur application is submited before the deadline, they are all judged equally. the chances of getting the lower offer normally depend on whether you're doing the most appropriate a-level ie bio chem maths....and ur overall academic preformance, if the uni thinks your not cut out for pharmacy or ur under qualified, they'll give you the higher offer. if they do think ur cut for it and qualified u get the lower offer...theres other factors to play into it but thats one of them.
No... Universities are not allowed to do that. They have to give equal consideration to all applicants who apply before the deadline. It's only beneficial where there are a limited number of places, and the university give out offers before the deadline. It doesn't mean that the offer is going to be lower...
