Working part-time and studying a PhD part-time.

Hello!

I work part time - 26 hours a week but I'd also like to study and complete a PhD in sport and PE part time. Is this doable to continue to work those hours and study a PhD part-time?

Thank you :smile:
I don't know the answer to this, but the careers service puts this at the bottom of all part time work advert on their website:

"Careers Service Advice:
The Careers Service advise you do not exceed the University’s recommended number of working hours per week;
- 15 hours for Undergraduates students (up to 35 hours during vacation);
- 15 hours for full-time, on campus Postgraduate Taught students.
- 9 hours for Postgraduate Research students. Please check with your supervisor before committing to work."

You could also check the course on drps and see how many hours study it suggests you would have to do.
