Just wanted to know what is A2B scheme like for people applying for medicine, at the University of Birmingham.
Is it useful?
And do you need to have high GCSEs or high Predicted A-level grades?

It reduces your grades by 2 so instead of getting AAA you'll only need ABB but do check the eligibility criteria before applying, here's a link to their page talking about A2B for Medicine:

Hi, It is usually schools in the West Midlands from my understanding
. It is very helpful btwDoes the A2B scheme help with getting in with a lower or average ucat score?

From my understanding, you are promised an interview as long as you have sat the UCAT however, I don't think a very low ucat will be accepted.

Sorry! I got confused. You're right it is only for R2P and the other programmes. I think A2B is just a grade reduction scheme.
