Driving guilt
Last week I had to cancel my driving lesson due to my dad being rushed into hospital I also am having to cancel it this week to as I’m not very well I feel so guilty about it

you could use the money you have saved to book some extra lessons.
Those are both legitimate reasons for cancelling lessons. Don't worry about it.

I will lose the money this week as my lesson is today, that’s why I feel so guilty with it being last minute. Sorry I should have been more clear

Instructors are quite used to people cancelling. If they were funny about it then they're not worth your money.
