In terms of the city centre, having a big walk around will give you a great sense of the city. It's relatively compact so it's easy to do, and it would certainly be worth visiting The Royal Crescent - popular among tourists and students alike. Also, an area called 'Oldfield Park' is relatively close to the city centre. A quick visit may be worthwhile as many (but not all) students live here in their second and final year, so you could get a feel of it. Apart from that, a trip to some of the city's bars, cafes, etc will be a good bet.
Hope this helps and please do ask if you have any other questions.

Thanks a lot- this is very helpful! I’ll try to visit each place and I’ll make sure to visit the campus itself. All the best.
