Strathclyde Uni or Uni of Glasgow?

Anyhow, Strathclyde and Glasgow both seem very similar from my online research - am assuming these must have different pros/cons?
FWIW the subject area would be Politics but interested in clubs / vibe etc as much as academic (which seems fairly comparable for this subject)
