Commuting to Kingston University

Hi there! Just wanted to post some information for those who will be commuting to class

If you are commuting around London, an Oyster Card or your contactless debit/credit card is an essential. Don't forget that you can apply for a student Oyster Card that will get you discounted travel once you have enrolled at KU.

Kingston Uni is made up of 4 separate campuses: Penrhyn Road, Kingston Hill, Roehampton Vale and Knights Park. Make sure you check which campus you are going to before you head off  Your lecture's room number will indicate the campus (PR for Penrhyn, KH for Kingston Hill etc.). For maps and detailed info, click the links below:

Penryhn Road

Trains run regularly from London Waterloo to Surbiton and Kingston stations (both Travelcard Zone 6). PR is a short walk or shorter bus ride away from both stations! If you prefer to cycle, there are showers and cycle parking facilities on campus.

Kingston Hill

Trains run regularly from London Waterloo to Norbiton (Zone 5) and Kingston (Zone 6) stations. You will then need to take the K3 bus or free KU intersite bus to campus.

Roehampton Vale

Take the 85 or K3 bus from Kingston Station, get off at 'Roehampton Vale Asda' and cross the street.

Knights Park

Trains run regularly from London Waterloo to Surbiton and Kingston stations (both Travelcard Zone 6). KP is a short walk from Kingston station, and a bus ride from Surbiton.

And don't forget, there is a FREE shuttle bus that will take you between campuses - more info here!

Any questions about commuting? Post them here and we will help out

Thanks
Daisy
