UCAS Extras wait

I applied for a foundation course at Liverpool Hope and it's been over a month now and I haven't heard back. I'm starting to get a little worried now, and considering applying to a new University but I only have one Extras choice. Am I able to apply to Universities without UCAS or do I have to wait for them to respond?

Contact Liverpool hope (ring them up today) and ask when they expect to make a decision.
If a certain amount of time passes then ucas will give you the option to swap your extra choice for a new university.
You can’t apply for more than one extra choice at once (or apply outside ucas if you have a ucas application)
