Gilmore girls 100%. i dont know if you're british but i wrote about it in my personal statement for uni i love it so much (applied for film and tv).
also the traitors is a good shout, you'll soon be sucked in to the madness. and i love claudia, bbc iplayer
derry girls - funny, poignant, great accents, good episode length, channel 4
misfits - first couple seasons are gold, bit mad tho i still love it, channel 4
the good place - again, whacky but great, surprisingly deep moments, great acting, netflix
umbrella academy - persevere thru first few eps, one of my fave ever shows, great soundtrack, brilliant cast, netflix
russian doll - created by and stars natasha lyonne, its so intricate its great, season 2 is new out, yet to watch but loved s1 - netflix
sex education - it deserves the hype, actors are brilliant, you grow to love all the characters, its a raunchy and truly great show - netflix

crashing - by phoebe waller bridge and its hilarious, left me longing for more - netflix
friends from college - entertaining, wish it had more seasons so it could develop the characters - netflix
i am not okay with this - cancelled because of covid but so beloved by fans, its teen, thriller / horror ish honestly such a good one - netflix
also how to get away with murder. a lot more serious than most of my other recs. its gripping and brilliant. viola davis is impeccable - netflix
