Hi there!

I'm a third year architecture student at the university at Kent and over the years the course grew design-heavy while including important subjects such as environment, construction and theory. First year will help you learn all the basics of design and during second and third year you will get to work on really interesting projects!
If you want to have a look at what studying architecture at Kent is like, I will drop some links that you can browse for more information here:

Course overview: https://www.kent.ac.uk/courses/undergraduate/4/architecture#tab--stage2
Studio and crit room tour: https://www.kent.ac.uk/architecture-planning/facilities

This is a link to our End of Year Show where students of all years get to share their work, so you can have a look at what type of projects we do here: https://www.kentarchshow.online/

I really hope this helps and best wishes

My friend at Notts said that it focuses more on the design side, so it might be worth checking that out as one of your options.

Hey,

I am a current 4th year at the uni of Nottingham.

I have attached a link below to the course at Nottingham. If you scroll down you can see the modules that are on offer year year and have a look at the description to see if it sounds like something that you might find interesting. I would make sure that in each year there is enough that suits you as I know some people look at the first year, find it interesting but don't check each year and find the later years less interesting.

I hope this helps and if you have any questions about the uni, city, accommodation etc just let me know,
Emily
