S22 ultra vs Google pixel 7 pro

Which overall would u say is the better phone?, can't decide which to get between these two.

Definitely the Google Pixel 7 Pro; but install GrapheneOS.
The installation may look a little scary, but you obtain much greater security and privacy protections than the stock OS, especially compared to Samsung's OS. It's a fairly straightforward process anyway that mostly just involves following a list of instructions

Even if you unwilling to do that, I would go with the Pixel. Pixels have superior hardware and security. After a while you'll stop receiving security updates, like any phone, but even past that it would still be supported by GrapheneOS, so its lifespan would be increased by a number of years at least. Eventually LineageOS might be supported on the Samsung, but maybe it never will be, who knows?
