I Just bought an unlocked iPhone from here: UR Refurbished iPhones and saved a fortune, rarther than getting a new one from O2! They gave me a student discount through studentbeans, but you can also get a phone which looks like new from Amazon and Ebay too. Shop around as there are some good deals going - go for one with less storage as it's cheaper - you can always get icloud storage - or if you want a Galaxy micro sd cards are as cheap as chips on Amazon. Hope this helps. By the way I now have a Apple iPhone 11 Pro and it cost around £200 and looks brand new.
