With reference to the Normalisation argument, critically discuss if illegal drug use has become normal in the UK.
I need to provide research that suggests that illegal drug has become normal within the UK. As well as research suggests that illegal drug use has not become normal within the UK.

This is an argumentative essay,.....in your introduction start by discussing illegal drugs in the UK, in general, the state your stand as the thesis statement.
Ig you choose to agree illegal drugs are illegal drug use has become normal then your first three paragraphs should show that. you can collect comparison data from the internet especially Statista, research organization about drags to show how illegal drugs use has increased in the UK over time.
for the counter argument, you can get another data or research that suggests otherwise. for example, data showing drug abuse in UK is decreasing over the past years or drug abuse awareness is growing.
