is it rude to smoke while walking in a secluded place

I felt a little antisocial
and then i met my old running coach walking her dog which was a little awkward

I don’t understand what you mean by secluded? But as a non-smoker who has a few friends who do smoke, they would never smoke if I couldn’t have enough space and air to move away from the smoke.

Unless there’s signs specifically telling me not to smoke, I smoke.

With that said- I would never purposely smoke around someone if I could move away from them to do so. Basic consideration on both sides.
