Clubbing alone

So I'm 18.. I've never been clubbing before and I don't really have any friends to go with. Would it be weird for me to go clubbing on my own?

My husband, in his youth, used to do it all the time apparently. He said that's how he made new friends and never had any problems chatting to people.

Personally I don't think I'd do it myself, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with it if you feel like it.
