Anyone going to university of Suffolk

I might be going to university of Suffolk but so far I have heard bad things people say the night life is dead and it’s a polytechnic uni I don’t even know what that means is anyone going this year ? Or is anyone currently there if so how is your experience!”?

A Polytechnic teaching institution just means that before 1992 they had a focus on STEM subjects, specifically engineering. Since 1992 most universities became independent and award their own degrees rather than is being 'centrally awarded' so I wouldn't worry too much about this as it's been over 20 years since a lot of universities made this change.
