I received an offer for Politics KCL a few months ago and was wondering why the IR course was more competitive especially since the course is so alike, and why is it still open to apply for when IR isn’t?
There's probably all sorts of reasons people have for preferring one type of course over another - even if the content was similar. It's also a very popular combined honours course at a lot of universities.
