If I put KCL as my insurance choice, will I be guaranteed accommodation? Will I get an offer of accommodation at all?

The KCL web site make it clear here that, "The first step is to register your interest in accommodation. You must hold a Firm offer of study in order to be eligible."

So you can't even register your interest in accommodation, let alone actually apply for it, unless KCL is your firm choice. If, on results day, you miss the offer conditions of your firm and KCL is your insurance, then you can apply for accommodation then.

Their accommodation does not apply in such circumstances.
