edexcel maths a level mock set 3 question 15

i wasnt sure how to start this question
the first 3 terms of an arithmetic series are
ln3 ln3^k - 1 and ln 3^k + 5
find the exact value of k
the + 5 and -1 arent in the power
because its arithmetic the differences will be constant, so can you not do
ln3^k-1 - ln3 and set it equal to (ln3^k+5 - ln3^k - 1)

and rearrange to work out k

this is just a suggestion im not sure if its right
