I have submitted request for student finance however, it's been 2 hours and my parents haven't received the email to a link to help support my application?

Hi there,

Your parents don't need the e-mail in order to support your application, rest assured. Instead, they just need to login the same way you do and they can provide their details: https://www.gov.uk/student-finance-register-login

Alternatively, they can complete the PFF2 form: https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/1137607/sfe_pff2_form_2324_o.pdf

The form doesn't need to be signed so you can upload it to us digitally on your account.

Thanks, Graeme

Thank you! I've relooked and I've found the section to provide the details. Also, as I am applying for the 23/34 year and it is asking for financial information for the years 21/22. How does it work if my parents have changed job recently last year as of 22/23? (Original post by Graeme SFE)

Hi there, for the 23/24 academic year we would require 21/22 tax year figures. We wouldn't take 22/23 tax year figures into consideration until 24/25 academic year.

Is your parents income expected to drop by 15% or more in 23/24 tax year in comparison to 21/22 tax year?

Thanks, Karen

Hi,
I am not sure for my my mums income at the moment as she has a new job ; however, my dad hasn't been working as of this year which is why i am not sure as to whether it would impact on the application since it's asking for 21/22.

I would advise to check with them and if the income is expected to drop by 15% or more in tax year 23/24 in comparison to 21/22 tax year they can complete the below form for the team to review.
