NHS Bursary for Final Year Medical Students

Is anyone shocked and appalled at how little final year medical students receive from the NHS bursary?
With the cost of living going up, this shouldn’t this be reviewed?

Unfortunately, you would only be eligible for the NHS bursary if you were a UK resident prior to your course commencing.
