Applying for the right finance

I am studying Occupational Therapy in September (undergraduate)

I have applied for the usual student finance for tuition fees, however i just wanted clarification on the other finance i can claim. Am i right in thinking i can apply for these?;

Learning support fund - tried to apply for this but its asking if I'm in receipt of tuition fees, I have yet to get that finalised so do i need to wait?

Parental Support ( I have children)
Childcare allowance ( I will need childcare)
Disabled Students Allowance ( Im deaf)

I am confused as to whether i can get the NHS bursary ir not if im claiming the learning support fund.

Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance :smile:

The NHS bursary is for medics or dentists so you're not eligible to apply for that.

You are eligible to apply for the NHS Learning Support Fund if you are going to study at a uni in England. Wait until your eligibility for a student loan has been confirmed before you apply. In addition to the annual £5,000 training grant, you can also apply for the parental allowance. More info here:

Have you also applied for the maintenance loan from sfe? There is more info on the gov.uk website re applying for childcare allowance and DSA:
