Clearing 2023

Hi Everyone,

As clearing is fast approaching I thought I would make you all aware of what the process is and how you can apply for it!

So clearing is where Universities fill any remaining places on the courses.

Clearing runs from the 5th July - 17th October 2023 so there is plenty of time for you to apply if you are not already holding an offer from a University and also if the Uni course has places still.

There is criteria for the clearing application and it is:
- You're applying after the 30th June
- You didn't receive any offers (or none you wanted to accept)
- You didn't meet the conditions of your offers
- You've paid the multiple choice application fee of £27
- You've declined your firm place

If you wish to apply for clearing at DMU you will find some more information here https://www.dmu.ac.uk/study/undergraduate-study/clearing/clearing.aspx. Early clearing at DMU begins on the 12th June.

Additionally, the last date to add a UCAS Extra Choice to an existing UCAS application is the 30th June, so make sure you do this in good time!
