Deferring a place in clearing

have got a deferred offer (conditional on tomorrows A level results) for Sept 2024.I believe clearing is only for Sept 2023 entry - however if i miss my grades tomorrow can i call Unis about Sept 2024 entry tomorrow, or will they be 100% focused on 2023 entry? thanks a lot

I mean, there's no harm in asking.
Worst case scenario you'll have to reapply again for next year, but clearing is worth a shot.

I presume you want to take a gap year which is why you're applying for deferred entry.

Let's be positive though, I'm positive you'll get the results you need.
Often we catastrophise because this is such a big moment - last year I was worrying about clearing but I got into my firm!

You'd probably be asked to apply for 2024 entry as normal.

Clearing is to fill places for 2023 entry. If you don't get a confirmed place tomorrow, then you will need to reapply in the next cycle for 2024 entry.
