Is this a Pearson BTEC Level 3 Nationals qualification?
When you say "single", do you mean it's worth a single A level (i.e. it's the Extended Diploma) or do you mean it's the single qualification you're taking - not one of three - which means it's more likely to be the Extended Diploma (worth 3 A levels).
If it's the Extended Diploma, then plenty of universities accept it for a wide variety of courses. Did you have any particular type of course in mind?
If it's the Extended Certificate, then what other qualifications are you taking alongside it?
